24 HOURS TO GO….
The district has 24 hours to get back to the table and work with us. We’re ready when they are. We want to be clear, though: we do not want to strike but we are ready to do so for our students. In order to avoid this, the district MUST come back to the table.
We need your help. Please keep emailing calling school Board President Kim Bundgaard and Superintendent Joe Torrez to get them back to the table. We are so close but we need our Board and Superintendent to be willing to meet with us.
Do you personally know President Bundgaard or Superintendent Torrez? Pick up the phone NOW and tell them Park County educators are ready to work with them to get this done.
In the event we’re forced to strike:
Don’t forget about the resources available if your family is affected by the strike. You can access the food bank located at the Fairplay Fire Station, and if child care is needed, your kids can go to the Boys and Girls Club of South Park. You will need to pack a lunch for your student and fill out the membership forms available here: http://bgchr.co/
We hope it won’t have to come to that, though. Please keep emailing and calling school Board President Kim Bundgaard and Superintendent Joe Torrez and tell them that South Park educators are ready to come back to the table.
